Interested in joining the Hudson Valley Vanguard?

HVV is an Adult run casual Milsim team.

So what does that mean? Our three Captains are all over the age of 30, Half of our current team is also over the age of 30.

We are a Milsim team, we have uniform requirements and expect everyone to follow them. We are a Casual team, we have jobs, families, and other responsibilities. As such we do not play every weekend.

You must be 18 or older. Minors will only be considered if joining with a parent or guardian.

You must have a good attitude, We play for fun. So don’t do anything that ruins that. It’s ok to be competitive and ok to want to win, but don’t let your attitude ruin that.

You must be willing to work with the team, and follow your squad leader.

You must be registered on our forums and actively check them to see when games are.

Uniform requirements- Our official uniform is the Canadian Disruptive Pattern Temperate Woodland (CADPAT TW). You can wear any type of tactical vest and any color. Only the pants and shirt need to be CADPAT. We can assist you in ordering a uniform.

Communication requirements- We require all members have radios with headsets. Any kind will work as long as its FRS/GMRS.

You may apply to the team without meeting the uniform or comm requirements but you will be considered a recruit and not a full member until you meet these requirements.

Once you are a full member you will receive your team patch.

The patch signifies who is a full member and who is a recruit.

Please be aware that there is a screening process and we expect that you play with the team so we get to know you before welcoming you to the team.
